This Saturday 20th of June 2015 will take place the 7th edition of the « Hitia’a festival Ukulele ». The festival will be held this weekend for the “fête de la musique”, which takes place everywhere in France and also in French Polynesia. Each municipality sends their delegation who will choose two bands that will represent them.  Each band must have one ukulele player, one guitarist and one “tura bass” player. Music professionals will be there to judge and the winners will win prizes. This festival is a real chance for ukulele lovers to discover new talented local ukulele players. So if you like ukulele and Tahitian style party, it’s this Saturday at the city hall of Hitia’a.
