Hiking reserved for sports persons, in excellent physical condition, not suffering from vertigo and amateur thrills (steep slopes, fixed ropes). Get into a forest of Mape and walk along the river to the "coconut" site, from where you can see the Afareaitu pass and the southwest part of Tahiti. Walk the dizzying peaks of Moorea and its tree ferns to reach the top and finally the reward of a 360-degree view of Moorea and Tahiti.

Highlights

Pro Level ! This hike adresses customers in excellent physical conditions, that do not suffer from dizziness. Participants must be good hikers, as the trail includes some very steep parts. You begin the hike by walking through a "Mape" forest (local Chestnut). You will keep on walking until arriving at a certain spot from where you can start admiring the panorama : Afareaitu's pass along with South East of Tahiti. You will then reach the peak line full of tropical ferns, then reach the summit with an outstanding 360degrees view on Moorea and Tahiti. Lunch and Relax time for about 45 minutes before heading back down.
