Initiated by « la Représentation Patronale du Pacifique Sud » (RPPS) and by « la Confédération des Petites et Moyennes Entreprises de la Polynésie française (CPME », the Pacific Business Days' objective is to foster direct communication among the delegations of the main exporting countries in the area.
There will be 15 invited countries : Australia, Fiji, Cook Islands, Easter Island, Solomon Islands, Niue, New Zealand, New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Wallis?and Futuna.
The exchange format are :
PLENARY SESSIONS
Geopolitical and economic presentation of delegations: general presentation, economic wealth, commercial trades and investments.
CONFERENCES AND DEBATES
Stimulating entrepreneurial and commercial synergies around the following topics: transportation between islands, digital communication, production sectors, strategic investments.
B2B MEETINGS
Business leaders will be able to meet their peers by sector and investments. A special room and agents will be available for the connections platform.
THE PACIFIC PAVILION
An exhibition space will allow each delegation to present its primary assets. We’ll also give local manufacturers and artisans who have exportable resources the opportunity to set up a booth Cultural events will accompany the highpoints of PBD and the Pavilion.
DELEGATION MEETINGS
Every country’s delegation composed of?the political representative, the employer representation and an industrial or investor is invited to register with the organizing committee if they will to meet another country’s delegation.
EVENING EVENTS
3 evening events will give a certain rhythm to the Pacific Business Days and welcome informal exchanges between business leaders and politicians.
