A magical trip in French Polynesia
My original email was just asking random dreamy questions, Ruta turned them into serious inquiry & then made them a reality, one of the BEST holidays we have ever had & will be hard to top! Her advice was accurate & her recommendations were all good, the transaction was easy from Australia & she helped us get great value for our money! Swimming with the sharks & stingrays was a highlight that we will always remember!
Some feedback on the activities you suggested:
- Dammon’s Tours, This Guy is really good at looking after his customers, Equipment top quality & well maintained! Does Jet skis as well as the ATVs, highly Recommended!
- Dolphin & Whale watching tour, well run, loads of information, a bit preachy regarding “other tours & Jetskis” We didn’t see whales, did see dolphins, swimming with sharks & rays was great, a good tour!
- Jet Ski around the Island tour, weather was too windy so we just did a 2 hour tour Swam with the sharks & rays & got a different perspective on Island life from the Guide – Brilliant Guy!
- Aito 4WD tour – same route as AWD (more relaxation than excitement for me not driving) Guide was really good with lots of information & a stop at tropical Gardens, the fruit juice - Yum!
The Sofitel Ia Ora Beach – from what we saw of the Island, this was the best resort! White sandy beach, rooms were even better than we hoped for! Door lock failed a couple of times but fixed pretty quickly! Staff very helpful! Buffet meal was about 0 AUD each which was a shock at first but the food was good! We even saw Whales breeching from the balcony of our room! The sunrise was beautiful!
